About us. THE COMPANY  Harmer Parr was established in 1987 by Stephen Parr and Geoff Harmer (now retired). It is the longest established full service financial advisory company in Tauranga, and offers a range of services though specialised divisions. (see 'what we do'). We operate as a team so that each client benefits from the experience and training of all team members. Harmer Parr now operates as Harmer Parr Investments Ltd and is part of the Camelot national network of financial advisory firms.
THE TEAM Stephen Parr JP, CFP, RPT Stephen is the founding principal and investment manager. As one of the most experienced investment advisers in Tauranga. Stephen also specialises in prudent investing for family trusts. He writes a regular investment column in two newspapers. Qualifications & Experience Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Licensed Share broker Registered Professional Trustee (RPT) 40 Years experience in personal investing 20 Years experience as an investment adviser Member of the Institute of Financial Advisers (IFA) Stephen is married with two adult daughters. He enjoys tramping, yachting and adventure travel. He has a range of community interests having been a director of the Tauranga YMCA, a Patron of the Tauranga Repertory Society, and regional representative of the QEII National Trust. He is currently a member of the Department of Conservation Bay of Plenty Conservation Board and a Council member of the BOP Justices of the Peace Association.
Todd Blythe BBS (Economics) Todd is a personal financial adviser and a Kiwisaver specialist.  Todd is currently studying towards his Certified Financial Planner designation.   Todd and his partner have two small children. He is a keen sportsman having represented New Zealand in rugby and athletics.
Trish Peddle  Trish is our Practice Manager and Investment Technician. This includes managing our investment systems and processes to ensure that we continue to provide a good service to clients and maintain our quality certification.
